How are your tax deductible donations helping the Foundation carry out its mission?
Partnerships will receive funding from the Foundation annually. Causes of Interest include a variety of organizations that will receive a gift donation from the Foundation in support of their cause. Funding is also geared toward grant proposals received by the foundation.
Partnerships and contributions made to different causes are based on Nancy's interests. Throughout her life she admired various organizations for their hard work and dedication toward their cause. Below are several organizations the foundation is working to support.

Partnerships
Huron Hospital - Community Health Center (Cleveland Clinic Hospital)
As one of the leading health care providers for underserved populations in greater Cleveland, Huron Hospital is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of at-risk minority populations in the Cleveland area and to understand and address the factors that impact their health.
Funding from the Foundation will support education and outreach forums in the East Cleveland community to educate community members on health-related topics and connect them to health services at the Huron Hospital Community Health Center.
Foundation Fundraising Goal for 2010: $1000.00.
Causes of Interest
The National Association for the Education of African American Children with Learning Disabilities (N.A.E.A.A.C.L.D)
The NAEAACLD seeks to improve the quality of education for African American children by raising the level of awareness in our communities about learning differences and promoting an understanding among parents, educators, and others of the culturally sensitive issues facing minority children with learning disabilities as defined by Federal law.
Ohio Cancer Research Associates
An independent, statewide, nonprofit organization dedicated to the cure and prevention of the many forms of cancer and the reduction of its debilitating effects through aggressive basic seed money research, cancer information, and awareness. The foundation is working to contribute on behalf of brain cancer research.
National Association on Mental Illness (NAMI OHIO)
Providing mutual support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by serious brain disorders. Which also include family members, mental health consumers, providers, community mental health boards, mental health organizations and other supporters.
ACCESS Inc.
ACCESS is dedicated to addressing the plight of homeless women and children in the Akron, OH community. The agency encourages the development of self-esteem and the attainment of self-sufficiency through its commitment of providing a holistic, safe and supportive environment, and through its programs of housing, advocacy and empowerment.
